Bolivia's Salar de Uyuni (also known as the Uyuni Salt Flats) is one of the most epic, otherworldly places on the planet. You'll find a prehistoric salt late, geysers, flamingos in lagoons and more. Though it's critical you pick the right tour through the flats (sadly I didn't), Mother Nature will certainly not disappoint.
